Replici Favorite din Filme

Mi-au luat ceva vreme sa dau curs invitației de a împărtăși câteva replici deștepte din filme, dar mai bine mai târziu decât niciodată, zic eu. Am văzut ceva filme la viața mea, așadar nu  mi-e chiar la îndemână. În cazul ăsta o să apelez la filme preferate. Cum zicea Diana, nu știut cât de deștepte sunt cuvintele alese, dar pentru mine au marcat trăiri deosebite.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind a devenit filmul meu preferat încă de la prima vizionare, în 2007. De atunci cred că l-am revăzut de vreo 7 ori, deși, în general nu sunt adepta revizionărilor, și l-am trăit cu intensitate de fiecare dată. Nu am reușit să găsesc la el vreun lucru care să nu îmi fie drag. Citatele ar fi ele multe, dar o să mă opresc la:

• "I'm not a concept. Too many guys think I'm a concept or I complete them or I'm going to make them alive, but I'm just a fucked up girl who is looking for my own peace of mind. Don't assign me yours."

• "Why do I fall in love with every woman I see who shows me the least bit of attention?"

•  "Constantly talking isn't necessarily communicating."

• "Sand is overrated. It's just tiny, little rocks."

Am ajuns să văd The Constant Gardener absolut accidental, în primul an de facultate, când mi-am făcut abonament la Centrul Cultural Englez. Era singurul film de pe raftul cu DVD-uri pe care nu îl văzusem și m-am bucurat apoi nespus de tare că l-am luat. E un film de la care nu am avut nicio așteptare, iar la sfârșit m-a lăsat mută.

• "Do you no good to go poking around under rocks, Justin. Some very nasty things live under rocks, especially in foreign gardens."
• "I only give the food to the women, Mr. Black. Women make the homes, men just make wars... and hooch. Adam was God's first draft - He got it right with Eve."

Vizionarea filmului The Fountain a fost o experiență copleșitoare. Dar e o poveste ce se trăiește dincolo de cuvinte, așa că am ales o sigură replică puternică:

• "Death is a disease, it's like any other. And there's a cure. A cure - and I will find it."

Vanilla Sky e o altă peliculă cu aromă foarte specială:

• "My dreams are a cruel joke. They taunt me. Even in my dreams I'm an idiot... who knows he's about to wake up to reality. If I could only avoid sleep. But I can't. I try to tell myself what to dream. I try to dream that I am flying. Something free. It never works."

• "Every passing minute is another chance to turn it all around."

• "What is any life without the pursuit of a dream?"

Nu în puține momente am perceput Into the Wild ca și cum ar fi fost scris special pentru mine. Sunt povești care parcă te înțeleg și și-au făcut cale spre tine într-un mod magic.

• "I read somewhere... how important it is in life not necessarily to be strong... but to feel strong."

• "The core of mans' spirit comes from new experiences."

(500) Days of Summer e pe lista celor mai mai îndrăgite, din lista vizionări. Nu l-am perceput ca pe o banală poveste de dragoste, ci ca pe o schiță inteligentă a unui adevăr universal. Orice ființă doritoare de afecțiune de pe planeta asta ar trebui să învețe mai devreme sau mai târziu că:

• "If Tom had learned anything... it was that you can't ascribe great cosmic significance to a simple earthly event. Coincidence, that's all anything ever is, nothing more than coincidence... Tom had finally learned, there are no miracles. There's no such thing as fate, nothing is meant to be. He knew, he was sure of it now."

         Bonus:

• "Just because she likes the same bizzaro crap you do doesn't mean she's your soul mate."

Îmi dau seama că m-am întins bine cu lista, așa că o să închei cu un ultim citat din The Pursuit of Happyness:

• "You got a dream... You gotta protect it. People can't do somethin' themselves, they wanna tell you you can't do it. If you want somethin', go get it. Period."

 Dacă mai sunt dornici să contribuie cu propria listă, nu vă sfiiți și dați de știre.
